TightSpot is a peer-to-peer mobile application built on the idea that trustworthy people shouldnt have to struggle to find money when they need it. The current avenues for acquiring small amounts of money quickly are usually uncomfortable or have blatantly predatory terms. We seek to make a service by the people, for the people, where the funds don’t flow from some massive lending service or bank, but other regular users in our community.
We believe that reputation and social standing are some of the most powerful forces in our highly connected society. Presenting a positive image means a lot these days, and we firmly believe that we can, together, make a non-predatory service that keeps profits in the hands of everyday people.
